Good Morning!
Thanks to everyone who could make it out to Book Club last night, and an especially big thank you to Vanessa, for preparing an awesome meal! The bar has officially been raised! Discussion of American Wife, by Curtis Sittenfeld, was great - it was definitely a winner!
November's book is going to be The Elegance of the Hedgehog, by Muriel Barbery. As for the next Book Club date, we all agreed that early december would be best, to give people time to read over the holiday break. We also were thinking of changing days, so everyone could attend. What does everyone think of Wed, 12/2, or Wed, 12/9? Also, any volunteers to host?
There was also talk of a December book. Alison (who successfully Skyped in last night!) suggested The Help, by Kathryn Stockett. Thoughts? Any other suggestions?
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
Tina

October and November
For October we're reading Curtis Sittenfeld's American Wife and for November we're reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog, right?
What days are we meeting and does the host have Skype or can someone bring a laptop for me?
Thanks, Alison

Good morning, everyone!
Sorry for the late post here! As discussed, this month, we are reading Mrs. Dalloway, by Virginia Woolf, and will be checking out the exhibit at Johnson Art Museum, perhaps in early October?
Ann has graciously offered to host this month. We'll meet Monday, Sept. 28. Ann's address is 139 Pine Tree Rd, Ithaca, NY. 6-8ish. I'll be bringing wine!!
I hope everyone is having a great month so far! If anyone has suggestions, feel free to drop me a line!
See you all soon,
Tina
